Gregggory had a life, he played soccer for 8 years, he was on the towns first traveling team, undefeated, and went to the state championships. He ran track in High School. He found out he had cancer when he was 14, had chemo, a kidney removed and radiation and then 2 months later after all this he was back at school running the mile. He was given the principals award in 11th grade for Exemplary Personal Courage in Maintaining High Academic Standards. He went skiing in Aspen with the Sunshine Kids where he won the gold in the slalom. First time he ever skied. Even though he was unlucky in the fact that he had cancer he was fortunate that he lived life to the fullest up until one week before he died. Im sure he would have traded it all for health. Along the way we met some wonderful people whom we would never have met if Gregg didn't have cancer. That is probably the only good thing to come out of this atrocity. My son touched a lot of lives during his life, but especially during his cancer. He will be missed a long time and then some. |

I wanted this page to be a celebration of Greggory, not preachy on
neuroblastoma. Therefore the following links have been added if you
would like to follow up on neuroblastoma. I probably have missed a
few that should be up here and if I have I am sure you will notify
me. Please feel free to e-mail me with any compliments, suggestions
or anything else at
greggorykaiser@comcast.net and would you please sign my guest
book at the end of this page. Thanks
This link will take you to a desciptive page of childhood cancers and
signals of such. Symtoms of childhood cancer are different than
adults. Backache is one of them. A backache in a child is not normal.
It may not be anything but if your child complains about it a little
to often then have it checked.
